Awesome Alpharetta is Exploding with Fourth of July Fireworks & Picnic Fun!
Dear Residents, It’s hard to believe it’s already July, isn’t it? Time really does fly when you’re having fun! We’ve got quite a few fun things to pack into this month (before school starts…) including punch and cookies in the leasing office Wednesday, July 3. We will also be giving out small flags in hopes you’ll display them on your porch to commemorate the day. Later in the month, we’ll get a jump on National Ice Cream Day, Sunday July 21, by having our ice cream social on Friday July 19, in the office, from 3-5 p.m. And don’t forget– “popsicles are on us” every Monday and Friday for the month of July. Head on over to the Belmont office and enjoy! Out and about in Alpharetta Opportunities abound for members of the Belmont at Park Bridge community to enjoy food, fun, and fireworks in Awesome Alpharetta, Georgia, in July, with both America’s Independence Day and National Picnic Month on the calendar! Holiday Weekend Fun From the Alpharetta Farmers Market to a fermented wine tasting, with all kinds of live music in between, there’s so much to do over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, including Avalon Nights Live and the Home by Dark concert series in Union Hill Park. Check out Awesome Alpharetta for details on everything. Celebrate The Fourth Of July at Wills Park Make plans to celebrate our great nation with your family and friends under the stars watching a brilliant and patriotic display of fireworks in Wills Park Thursday, July 4, 2024. The show in the sky will start at 9:15 p.m.; if there is a weather delay, the latest things will begin is 10:40 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets, picnics, and games for a memorable evening together. Make a note: Once the parking lots in Wills Park have filled to capacity, two roads will close until the end of the fireworks show: Old Milton Parkway from Wills Road to State Route 9 Wills Road from Old Milton Parkway to State Route 9 National Picnic Month Sometimes summer sunshine just screams out for a picnic, which is probably why the American Bakers Association picked July as National Picnic Month way back in 1952. The Belmont at Park Bridge Homes Idea Specialists™ did a little research and found that the word picnic comes from the French word piquenique, which eventually came to refer to mid-18th-century al fresco French dining. In today’s world, a picnic can be something as simple as sandwiches and soft drinks on the sun deck by the sparkling Belmont at Park Bridge resort-style pool, or as over the top as an Insta-worthy luxury picnic delivered by companies specializing in creating memorable experiences. Locally, La Fête Picnic Co. offers curated packages for unforgettable gatherings. Picnicking In Alpharetta There are plenty of places for you to plan your own picnic in Alpharetta, including the Big Creek Greenway and The Plaza at Avalon, both conveniently located to Collingwood Apartment Homes. Once again it’s Awesome Alpharetta for the win, with their Top 10 list of suitable sites. Chilling & Grilling Of course, the Idea Specialists™ are going to have some suggestions for you when it comes to picnic-appropriate food and drink! Before you head out to wherever you’re going to spread your picnic blanket, whip up a to-go pitcher of this luscious Summertime Rosé Tequila Sangria. And depending on what you’re in the mood for, maybe one—or four, or a lot more—of these Pioneer Woman picnic foods. Cowboy caviar, loaded potato salad, chef’s salad on a stick, and blueberry bars all will go with whatever you decide to grill—ribs, chicken, burgers, YUM. And check out this awesome Picnic Time combo BBQ Kit Cooler from Target they found. In addition to its large capacity for ice and drinks, it features an eight-piece stainless steel grill set that includes everything from tongs and a spatula to a cutting board and corkscrew. And because of its shoulder strap, it’s imminently portable—thus perfect for a picnic at the community poolside barbecue area. Sweet! Summer’s Bounty The Belmont at Park Bridge Idea Specialists™ will definitely be heading back to the Alpharetta Farmers Market for some more homegrown tomatoes now that they’ve seen this Garden & Gun article for delicious recipes for everything from tomato pudding to cracker salad. They’ll be taking that salad, and some green tomato chowchow, on their picnic, for sure. And Speaking of Garden & Gun If you’re not already familiar with this quintessentially Southern magazine, check out their Instagram feed to get a feel for what it’s all about. And maybe have a little fun with their “You Might Be a Southerner If…..” quiz. That’s all for now. Please don’t hesitate to contact your office team if we can be of assistance in any way. Thank you for choosing Belmont Park Bridge as your place to call home! Kind regards, Sonya Sandoval, Community Manager & the Belmont Park Bridge Apartment Team
April Newsletter
Nestled within the lush landscape of Belmont Park Bridge, where the tranquil harmony of nature meets modern urban living, it’s fitting to reflect on Earth Day’s origins. Born out of a growing environmental consciousness in the late 1960s, Earth Day emerged as a pivotal moment in history—a rallying cry for global action to protect our planet’s precious ecosystems and natural resources. Our team at Belmont Park Bridge looks forward to celebrating Earth Day all month long, starting with the kickoff of the Alpharetta Farmer’s Market, a vegetarian cookbook give-a-way, resident spring gardening event, and patio spring cleaning. All you’ll need to do is come by the office and place your name in the basket by April 19. We will draw for the cookbook on Monday, March 22, Earth Day. Saturday, April 6, kicks off the Alpharetta Farmers Market season. The Market opens at 8:30 and closes at 12:30. If you haven’t been before, you should make plans to attend. In honor of the bountiful spring harvest, Belmont Park Bridge is giving away one of the best vegetarian cookbooks ever, The Moosewood Collective, inspired by the Moosewood Restaurant in Ithica, NY. Pets make the Earth a better place, and we all love our furbabies! So, on or before Thursday, April 11, National Pet Day, please email us a photo of your pet, along with their name, so we can share the photo on our social media platforms. We’d also love it if you’d bring your pet by the office that day for a special treat. On April 19, from 4 to 5 p.m., we will host our Spring Into-Spring Gardening event at the picnic table area. All residents are invited to join in on the fun! Everyone will receive seeds, small flower pots, and soil. We will also provide light refreshments. Hope to see you there! [rl_gallery id=”1833″] We love to treat our humans too! National Pretzel Day is April 26, so be sure to stop by the office anytime during the day and grab a bag of pretzels for your snacking enjoyment! If you love pretzels, be sure to check out Auntie Anne’s Pretzels at 1300 North Point Circle Alpharetta, 30022? We also love living in Alpharetta and are excited about everything going on within minutes of our community. Here are a few of our favorite events: Things going on in Alpharetta in April: Farmer’s Market Starting April 6, from 8:30-12:30 Alpharetta Food Truck Alley starting April 25 Avalon Nights Live starting April 5 from 6-8 on Fridays. Seeing the community’s children use it every afternoon after school warms my heart. As always, my team and I are honored to be able to serve you. Please let us know if we can do anything to improve your stay at Belmont Park Bridge Apartments. Best, Sonya Sandoval, Community Manager, Belmont Park Bridge Apartment Community
