Dear Belmont Park Bridge Residents,
Happy New Year! We hope your 2024 is off to a fantastic start. As we dive into the new year, we’re excited to bring you updates and events of what’s happening at Belmont Park Bridge and in the Alpharetta community.
One of the most exciting things we’ve done in a while is about to come to fruition at Belmont. Have you ever heard of Little Free Library? Get ready because we are about to have one here at Belmont Park Bridge. The concept is “Take a Book, Share a Book.” We will have a ribbon cutting soon and want everyone who loves to read to be involved – so please stay tuned!
Resolutions
Are you a resolution maker? Do your resolutions include getting fit? Belmont Park Bridge is fortunate to have a 24-hour fitness center for our residents and also be located near all things Alpharetta, including the Big Creek Greenway. January and February are the perfect months to bundle up, get outside, and walk!
Here’s the link to the (really cool) Big Creek Greenway Map.

Recipe of the Month: Mexican Hot Chocolate
Warm up your winter evenings with a delicious cup of Mexican Hot Chocolate. Here’s a simple recipe to try:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream and cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Warm the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it steams but doesn’t boil.
- Add the chopped chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon, and chili powder to the saucepan. Whisk until the chocolate melts, and the mixture is smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks if desired.
Enjoy this delightful treat on chilly evenings – the perfect blend of sweetness and warmth.
We hope you make the most of the events and activities happening in Alpharetta this January and February. As always, feel free to contact the Belmont team if you have any questions or suggestions.
Wishing you a wonderful start to the new year!
Best regards,
